Job, Work, Employment, the Thirteenth Ring of Heck(some were)

From time to time I'll probably end up rambling. Here's one thing. I now have a new job at a box company in Kirkwood through the temp agency it is less pay. Last week, I was working at a different job putting stuff in boxes up in Florissant. Before I went to the Caricature Convention, I was banding tires on pallets in South City. I ought to write a comic about the many jobs I've had. This is probably one of the main reasons I don't get hired at some places. The worst part about it is filling in the Employment History section on Applications. When I worked at UPS, I put down my whole EH for 10 years that's how far back they wanted. I had more than 10 entries. I think I average about three jobs a year since I've worked at seasonal Six Flags St. Louis as an Independent Contractor or Caricature Artist. I was a CA for 7 years(to date). Since working for the Temp Agency I can now proudly say the shortest time at one place was one day. Actually that's not entirely true. My first assignment was an Animal Medicine place. They sent us home just after giving us our hard hats and hair nets. The reason: one of the facilities they needed the most help on had just "gone down". I haven't been assigned over there again. What a comic. What have I been? A dishwasher, busboy, waiter, Orientation Leader, picker, Pre-loader, Independent Contractor, America Reads Intern, over-night stockperson, liqour cashier, 1 hour photo developer/cashier, cashier, grocery cashier, Dairy stockperson, bank teller, production assistant, merchandiser, student janitor, assistant groundskeeper, caricaturist, and others I'm sure I'm forgetting. Currently, I also Freelance as a Cartoonist doing Art: Caricatures, logos, and occasional parties by the hour. You know it sounds like I've been busy but, not really. However given the current economic situation, I am happy to say I have a job once again. And again I say what a comic it could be. (Note: I went to school for comics.)
